Capacity Building
Grassroots Grants seeks to increase grant funding and capacity building support for voluntary and community groups enabling them to continue or expand their work.
One of our Grassroots Grants funding themes is Capacity Building broadly defined as including projects that promote:
- Volunteering and community engagement
- Volunteer skills, through training
- Encouraging groups to review their governance
- Development of management skills such as fundraising, bookkeeping, project evaluation etc.
Grassroots Grants will also help to fund the costs of capital items including computers, IT software etc.
We are working closely with your local CVS who will be able to help you with many aspects of Capacity Building and who should be your first point of contact.
